Ford Motor Company Brings in Master Motivator to Help Them "Move-Forward!"

(PRWeb) December 11, 2006 -- Ford Workers Accept Buyout At Record Numbers After Hearing Motivational Speaker, Willie Jolley!

In an effort to jumpstart a stalled buyout offer, Ford Motor Company sought the services of world renowned speaker and author Willie Jolley to speak to their plant employees nation-wide.

Ford Motor Company has been going through a major industry shift and needed to reduce their labor force by 10%. Even though Ford had offered a very generous package, very few workers were signing up for the buyout offer. One of Ford's executives had heard Willie Jolley speak and recommended that Ford bring him in to motivate employees and encourage them to take advantage of one of Ford's special packages.

The Ford / Willie Jolley Opportunity Tour began in mid October and had to be completed by Thanksgiving, in order for the workers to meet the critical November 27th deadline. Each day Willie Jolley visited different plants around the country, many times speaking at two facilities a day. The tour concluded the night before Thanksgiving in Detroit, MI.

Ford workers were energized by Willie Jolley message and his sharing his personal story of turning setbacks into comebacks! Ford's goal was to get 25,000 workers to take advantage of the buyout opportunity. We are excited to announce that on last Wednesday it was announced that over 38,000 workers had taken advantage of the buyout! Willie Jolley was able to help Ford not only reach their goal but exceed their goal!
